Shower Bay Can Be Put Together In A Snap!
The team, here at Forward Day, gives you full permission to take the title of today’s blog literally. And that’s because our Shower Bay portable showers can literally be snapped together in any room of the home! One of the main reasons we’re so proud of this wonderful innovation is because it completely eliminates the need to perform any expensive renovations to the bathrooms in your home. If you live with an individual who uses a wheelchair and finds it difficult to get in and out of the bathtub, the Shower Bay portable shower is for you!
We’re also quite proud of this unique portable shower because it all but eliminates the fear that some seniors have when it comes to bathing. As Tim Colling points out on the Caring Connection, Inc. website, many seniors limit their bathing because of their fears of falling. However, the upkeep of an elderly person’s hygiene is a necessity that shouldn’t be overlooked.
“It is important to shower or bathe regularly; however, professionals say that seniors should bathe at least once a week,” Colling writes, “If bathing is a battle for you as a caregiver, there may be more behind the reason your senior loved one isn’t bathing often. Most likely it’s a matter of being afraid of a fall or heightened pain that can reduce their desire to bathe every day.”
With a Shower Bay portable shower, your elderly loved one never needs to worry about even entering a bathroom. As mentioned, it can be snapped together in any room of the home where a faucet is nearby. But this may raise a couple of questions…
Where Does the Water Come From?
Shower Bay’s quick-connect system easily snaps on to most home faucets. The water travels from the faucet through an in-hose to the Shower Bay unit. As a result, you may snap together the Shower Bay in a bedroom, living room, den or basement – you name it! Whichever room is the most convenient for your loved one to take his/her shower is the right room to assemble your Shower Bay.
You may be wondering how much work is required to assemble an entire portable shower. We’re happy to report that it really doesn’t take much effort at all. In the video below, you can see how easily Shower Bay is assembled. As the video demonstrates, no tools are necessary and you certainly don’t need to hire a contractor or plumber to put this great portable shower together.
Where Does the Water Go?
As you’ll see in the video, your Shower Bay comes with 35 feet long water hoses. This enables you to use one to connect the Shower Bay to a water source (such as a bathroom faucet) and the other to connect the portable shower to a drain (such as your bathroom shower). As a result, your loved one can take a full and thorough shower with running water in a room other than the bathroom and not worry about having water escape and damage any part of the home!
